The firm’s David Zahra recently addressed delegates at the ‘Mediterranean Islamic Finance Conference 2011 – New Openings’, a two-day conference organised by the Malta Institute of Management (MIM) at the Westin Dragonara Resort in St Julian’s, Malta on 27 and 28 October 2011.
The conference brought together a number of scholars and practitioners to discuss practical issues and opportunities.
The conference shed further light on Malta’s potential to become an Islamic finance centre in the Mediterranean.
David Zahra formed part of the panel discussing Islamic Finance in Europe and spoke about the lessons Europe can learn from the principles of Islamic finance.
