The Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on bilateral co-operation with the Isle of Man’s Gambling Supervision Commission.
The MoU highlights the jurisdictions’ common values and delves into various other matters. The LGA and the Isle of Man’s Gambling Supervision Commission are working towards developing common responsible gambling measures and enhancing consumer and player protection measures along with developing common regulatory best practices (including employee exchange programmes and common certificate standards).
These developments will involve a formal framework for cooperation which will require the exchange of information and investigate assistance.
The MoU also addresses: reciprocal server location; cloud regulation; recogintion of national certificate bodies; and player liquidity.
