FinanceMalta will be organising an educational clinic on Shariah-compliant funds on 24 June 2014 at the Malta Financial Services Authority, Notabile Road, Attard.
This will be the one of a series of educational clinics focusing on different facets of Islamic Finance products and business opportunities for Malta.
David Zahra will be delivering a short presentation on the possibility of setting up Shariah-compliant funds in Malta and will also be moderating a panel discussion involving Leopold Zentner (Legal Director at Clyde & Co, Tripoli office) and Albudery Shariha (Managing Partner at Clyde & Co, Tripoli office).
During the same educational clinic, delegates will have the opportunity to listen first-hand from Steven Maijoor, Chair of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) on recent developments at ESMA with the opportunity to ask questions to the speaker.
