David Zahra and Krista Ellul have attended the IBA European Start-up Conference held in London on 15 November 2017.
The conference took place at Level39, Europe’s largest technology accelerator for finance, retail, cyber-security and future cities technology companies.
The conference focused on the current trends in the European start-up industry and the latest funding terms in Europe and how the funding stage of start-ups and typology of investors affect these terms and instruments.
This conference helped DZ&A further look into how, as lawyers, the firm can assist its clients build a successful start up business and how to add real value to such start-ups.
Interestingly most of the speakers at the conference were entrepreneurs or involved in some way in start-up businesses and this gave the firm further insight as to what start up businesses really require and expect from their lawyers.
