David Zahra and Andrew Grech have recently attended the ‘Showcasing Maritime Malta’ event at the prestigious International Maritime Organisation headquarters in London, an event organised jointly by the Malta Maritime Forum and the Malta Business Network (UK) on 27 February 2024.
From insightful interventions by industry leaders and key stakeholders to networking opportunities, the event shined a spotlight on Malta’s thriving maritime sector. Speakers highlighted Malta’s pivotal role as a key player in the global maritime arena, the opportunities and challenges facing maritime Malta, as well as the overall advantages that Malta offers the investor in maritime activities. The event was also addressed by the Hon. Dr Chris Bonett, Minister for Transport, Infrastructure, and Public Works of Malta, who emphasised the importance of continued growth in this sector, a sector of vital importance to the Island’s economy.
This event deepened the firm’s understanding of the driving forces behind Malta’s successful maritime industry as well as the contemporary challenges which it faces. The firm’s presence at this event also underscores the commitment to remain abreast with the developments in the sector, to strengthen relations with other stakeholders and to enhance our ability to better serve our clients through the simultaneous strengthening of this practice area.
